Holbein Watercolour Medium Paper Texture Paste is a professional acrylic-based medium that creates the feel and absorbency of traditional watercolour paper on a wide variety of painting surfaces. Supplied in a convenient 300ml squeeze pouch, it allows artists to build textured grounds for expressive watercolour techniques without being limited to paper.
Once dry, the paste forms a durable, lightly textured surface that accepts watercolour beautifully while enhancing granulation, lifting and colour separation. It can be applied to canvas, wood panels, illustration boards and other rigid supports using a palette knife or broad brush.
Use it to prepare custom painting surfaces, experiment with mixed media or recreate the texture of cold press paper for watercolour, gouache and ink techniques.
