Holbein Artist Watercolour Half Pan – Sepia 596
HB6 · ZF5
Holbein Artist Watercolour Half Pan in Sepia 596 is a professional Japanese watercolour that combines the warmth of an earthy brown with the depth of black.
Formulated with PBr7 (Burnt Sienna) and PBk6 (Lamp Black), this rich brown mixture is useful for painting natural textures, tree bark, soil, rocks, landscapes and architectural details. Its granulating character adds visual texture to washes, while its semi-transparent quality makes it suitable for layered applications and tonal studies.
Holbein Artist Watercolours are formulated without ox gall or other dispersing agents, giving artists greater control over pigment movement and brush handling. The compact half pan is easily rewettable and convenient for studio palettes, sketching and travel painting.
