Gamblin Oil Painting Ground

The preparation of a painting surface is an important part of the oil painting process. A suitable ground provides a consistent base for applying paint and helps artists prepare their own supports according to their preferred working methods.

Gamblin Oil Painting Ground is useful for painters who work with canvases or other compatible supports and want greater control over surface preparation. It can be considered for personal studio projects, larger artworks and ongoing painting practice. Always check the manufacturer's guidance to ensure that your chosen support is compatible and that the ground has been applied and dried correctly before painting.
