Gamblin Gamvar Satin Picture Varnish – Assorted Sizes

The final surface finish can influence how colours, highlights and shadows appear in an oil painting. Gamblin Gamvar Satin Picture Varnish helps create a controlled, even sheen that sits between glossy and matte, making it a useful choice when you want to protect a finished artwork without a highly reflective surface.

Its removable varnish formulation also supports future conservation by allowing the varnish layer to be removed when appropriate using the recommended method. It is suitable for artists finishing paintings for exhibitions, collections or display, as well as studio painters seeking a consistent final appearance across their work.
