Gamblin Gamvar Gloss Picture Varnish – Assorted Sizes
ZF5
Gamblin Gamvar Gloss Picture Varnish is a finishing varnish designed to give finished oil paintings a glossy surface while helping protect the painted layer from dust and everyday surface grime. It enhances colour saturation and creates a more unified gloss appearance, making it a useful final step for artists preparing paintings for display.
Gamvar is formulated for use on suitably dry oil paintings and can be applied in a thin, even coat. Before varnishing, ensure the painting meets the manufacturer's drying requirements. Application conditions, paint thickness and the materials used can affect drying and finishing results, so always follow the product instructions.
Available in three container sizes, Gamvar Gloss offers options for individual artists and studios working on multiple paintings. It is suitable for artists who want a glossy finish for their oil paintings and a dedicated varnish intended for fine-art use.
