Gamblin Cold Wax Oil Medium

Oil painting mediums allow artists to adjust how paint feels, spreads and appears on the surface. Gamblin Cold Wax Oil Medium is useful when you want to build texture, create a thicker paint consistency or achieve a more matte finish than oil paint alone may provide.

It can be incorporated into layered painting techniques, palette-knife applications and mixed-media approaches that are compatible with oil painting. By adjusting the proportion of medium in your paint mixture, you can explore different surface qualities and levels of texture. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for mixing, application, drying and safe studio use.
