Gamblin Artists' Oil Color Radiant Lemon 850 is a cool, high-intensity yellow oil colour formulated as part of Gamblin's Radiant range.
Made with Hansa Yellow Light and Titanium Dioxide pigments (PY 3, PW 6), it produces an opaque, luminous lemon-yellow tint that can be used directly or incorporated into colour mixtures.
Radiant Lemon uses alkali-refined linseed oil as its vehicle and has a Series 2 classification with very good lightfastness.
Its light value and high chroma make it useful for highlighting, colour mixing, underpainting and creating bright passages in oil paintings.
The Radiant range was developed as a system of intense tints that can be combined with pure colours, shades and tones for controlled value and colour relationships.
