Caran d’Ache Luminance Colour Pencil Set of 20
Caran d’Ache Luminance Colour Pencil Set of 20 is a compact artist colour pencil collection designed for drawing, illustration and detailed fine art.
The set brings together 20 Luminance colour shades in a practical selection for artists who want a focused palette for developing coloured-pencil artwork. It is well suited to artists beginning with professional coloured pencils, as well as experienced users looking for a curated selection of essential colours.
Use the pencils for portrait drawing, figure studies, botanical illustration, landscapes, wildlife, animal artwork, still life, fashion illustration, character art and detailed sketching.
Build depth through colour layering, combining different shades to create highlights, mid-tones, shadows and gradual tonal transitions. The selected palette can also be expanded with individual Luminance pencils as your artwork develops and your preferred colour combinations become more specific.
For portraits, the pencils can be used to develop complexion, hair, facial features and subtle tonal variation. For botanical and nature artwork, they can be layered to create foliage, petals, stems and organic textures. They are equally useful for landscapes, animals, objects and detailed illustrations.
The compact format makes the set practical for studio work, travel, sketchbooks, art classes and everyday drawingwhile providing a versatile foundation for coloured-pencil techniques.
Whether you are creating realistic artwork, illustrations, studies or detailed sketches, the Luminance 20-colour set provides a focused palette for exploring colour, layering and tonal depth.
