Caran d’Ache Luminance Colour Pencil Grass Green 220
Caran d’Ache Luminance Colour Pencil Grass Green 220 is an individual artist colour pencil from the Luminance range, suited to detailed coloured pencil drawing, botanical illustration and fine art applications.
Grass Green 220 brings a fresh green character to an artist’s palette, making it useful for natural subjects that require clear, lively vegetation tones. It can be used to establish foliage, grasses and plant forms or layered with other greens to create greater variation and depth.
Use this shade for botanical illustration, leaves, foliage, grass, plants, flowers, landscapes, nature studies, tree studies, wildlife artwork and detailed illustration. It can also be useful for adding brighter green passages to realistic drawings where vegetation needs to stand apart from darker or more muted greens.
Layer Grass Green with yellows for warmer vegetation, darker greens for depth and shadow, or ochres and earth tones to create more natural and varied foliage. Combining it with complementary reds, pinks or purples can also introduce contrast in botanical and illustrative compositions.
As an individual Luminance pencil, it is ideal for artists building a customised palette or replenishing a frequently used colour.
