Caran d’Ache Neocolor II Water Soluble Pastel in Yellow 010 is a versatile artist colour stick that combines the expressive qualities of a pastel with water-soluble colour. Use it directly on dry paper for rich, opaque marks or add water with a brush to create transparent washes and watercolour-style effects.
Use Yellow 010 works well for highlights, warm colour mixes, botanical studies, illustrations, sketching and mixed-media artwork. The colour can be layered, blended and reactivated with water, giving artists flexibility to move between drawing and painting techniques.
