Caran d’Ache Neocolor II Water Soluble Pastel Metallic Silver 498 combines the rich, velvety application of a wax oil pastel with the versatility of a water-soluble medium. Metallic Silver 498 adds a cool silver-toned effect to artwork and is useful for highlights, lettering, borders, decorative details and illustration.
Use Neocolor II pastels can be used dry or activated with water to create washes, softened edges and varied colour effects. They can be blended and layered on paper, cardboard, wood, glass, fabric and stone, making them suitable for drawing, painting and mixed media techniques.
The 8.65 mm pastel offers strong covering power, produces no pastel dust and is made in Switzerland by Caran d’Ache.
