Caran d’Ache Neocolor II Water Soluble Pastel Charcoal Grey 408 combines the rich, velvety application of a wax oil pastel with the versatility of a water-soluble medium. The Charcoal Grey shade is useful for tonal drawing, shading, outlines, muted colour work and adding depth to illustrations and paintings.
Use Neocolor II pastels can be used dry or activated with water to create washes, softened edges and watercolour-style effects. They can be blended and layered on paper, cardboard, wood, glass, fabric and stone, making them suitable for drawing, illustration, painting and mixed media techniques.
The 8.65 mm pastel offers strong covering power, produces no pastel dust and is made in Switzerland by Caran d’Ache.
