Caran d’Ache Neocolor II Aquarelle 50 Years Special Edition – Portrait is a Swiss Made set of 10 water-soluble wax oil pastels created to celebrate 50 years of Neocolor II Aquarelle. The Portrait palette combines warm, natural and earth-based colours suited to portrait drawing, skin tones, figurative work and expressive colour studies.
The set contains 10 pastels, including three exclusive anniversary colours: Light Peony Yellow 812, Conch Pearl 531 and Light Wine Lees 593, alongside White, Salmon, Crimson Alizarin, Russet, Burnt Sienna, Vandycke Brown and Aubergine. Each pastel has a soft, velvety texture, strong covering power and excellent lightfastness.
The pastels can be used dry or activated with water for washes, blending and watercolour effects on multiple surfaces.
