Viviva Watercolorsheets - 5 things you need to know

Have you ever been out painting on the go, or even in a small area at home, and wondered how to carry everything and where to set it all down? Viviva Colorsheets is an elegant answer to this age-old problem. Here are 5 things you need to know about this amazing product.

1. Pocket-Friendly. Literally! The Viviva Watercolor Sheets come in a compact & unique design making them easy to carry around. The entire booklet is just about the size of a regular smartphone and fits easily into your jean pocket. They’re so light, you can hold them in your hand for long periods of time.

2. Ergonomically Designed. The Colorsheets contain 16 colors, that are presented in a reporter-style notebook format, with an overall dimension of 7cm by 13.5cm and approximately 0.5cm thick which is incredible when you think about it. Or if you would prefer the dimensions in inches, two and three-quarter inches by five and a half inches and a quarter-inch thick. The 16 colors included in Viviva's Colorsheets are Crimson, Deep Pink, Vermillion, Dusk Orange, Chrome Yellow, Gold Ochre, Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, Light Green, Sap Green, Viridian, Peacock Blue, Persian Blue, Viole, Magenta & Slate Black. In a subtle stroke of brilliance, a small mixing sheet was included with the booklet. The sheet is a heavy paper with a water-repellent surface that you can wipe clean. It comes as a separate piece with an adhesive backing that you stick to the booklet. The translucent water-repellent sheet is layered between each page of color, so they don’t contaminate one another. It’s recommended that you don’t close the book while the paint is wet. The pack also comes with a water brush pen.

3. Paint Quality. The company claims that each color chip is comparable to a half-pan's worth of paint. We believe that is true, but only if you are careful with how much water you use. Strength of the pigments - Every color in this set is so vibrant, the colors on their own are absolutely gorgeous. However, as an overall palette, you would be stumped as to what you could paint with them. 4. Longevity. The color dyes are individually bound to a heavy paper, and cut into chips which are glued, two to a page. The paints are surprisingly durable and can easily last several months.

5. 100% Biodegradable & toxin Free. The paint dyes and the heavy paper backing are all processed from 100% bio-degradable materials. The paint pigments are also non-toxic though they are not to be consumed.

In conclusion, The Viviva Colorsheets are a light, portable way to carry your paints. The colors are bright, and the booklet is well-designed. You do need to take care not to get the color on your hands and clothing, and this can happen even before the paints are wet.
