All seven colours are available in the 0.3mm F nib size, while the 0.5mm M nib size comes in the three core colours: black, blue and red. If you end up collecting few of these you'll be able to easily distinguish the pens by nib size; the size is printed at the end of the cap. The Preppy's body, clip and feed match the ink colour, so you can pick out the colour you're looking for at just a glance.

The Preppy fountain pen features Platinum's 'Slip and Seal' cap design which prevents the nib from drying out (and saves you time spent on maintaining the nib, which is what you want with an everyday pen like this) and an advanced feed design to ensure smooth flow.

Each Preppy comes with one colour matching ink cartridge (i.e. the pink Preppy comes with a pink ink cartridge). Important to note: the Preppy takes and comes with a Platinum ink cartridge. If you want to refill using standard international cartridges size you'll need a Platinum International Adaptor.
