The Tachikawa School nib is actually Quite Nice! It’s moderately stiff, and decently smooth over paper. It provides a satisfactory swell and, I personally just love the response and feel of this pen.

If using fountain pen inks with dip pens, you may find the ink to be a little too thin to work well. We've found that specialist calligraphy inks give the best performance with dip pen nibs.
