About the Event
Have you tried painting ocean scapes using gouache, but somehow fail to achieve the desired results?
Skill Level:
This is a beginner-friendly workshop. Basic skills in watercolours/gouache are recommended but not mandatory.
In this workshop you will learn:
- - Importance of using good quality paper for gouache.
- - Preparing the paper for gouache.
- - Water control.
- - Techniques to create and paint ocean waves.
- - Colours to avoid.
- - Painting a full sea-scape/ocean scape together.
- - Review & discussion.
- All materials will be provided. Artist quality Gouache paints from White Nights will be provided for this session.
About the Artist:
Nilam Roy is an artist and art educator based out of India. She has been a watercolourist and an art educator on skillshare and covers various topics and skills under watercolours.
